Waihi Beach Library provides space for reading, community gatherings, exhibitions and workshops in the Bay of Plenty coastal town. The brief calls for rooms that can accommodate different activities over time.
A low roof, natural finishes and shaded verandas relate the building to its beachside setting. Large windows connect the shared interior with the town centre and adjacent open spaces.
