The proposed Ōmanu Surf Life Saving Club at 15 Surf Road, Mount Maunganui brings lifeguard operations, equipment storage, training and community spaces together beside the beach.
Precast concrete and profiled metal form the main exterior materials. Low rooflines, decks and deep overhangs provide covered outdoor edges, with large windows facing the surf, dunes and adjoining reserve.
