Saint Heliers, Auckland

The Saint Heliers house in Auckland combines a dark pitched-roof section with a lighter adjoining volume. Tall glazing marks the junction between the two.

Planting surrounds the recessed entrance and screens parts of the frontage. The contrast in shape and finish keeps the two building sections distinct.
