Riverview Road, Cooks Beach
Residential house design · Cooks Beach, Coromandel
At Riverview Road in Cooks Beach, this coastal house uses a low roofline and wide glazed openings to face the garden. Deep eaves and recessed outdoor edges provide shelter around the house.
Textured walls contrast with the glazing, while planting screens parts of the frontage. The design keeps the building low in its setting and gives the garden a substantial role in the outlook from the home.
