The Lakes Commercial
Retail and hospitality design · The Lakes, Tauranga
The Lakes Commercial is a retail and hospitality development designed for Carrus in Tauranga. The brief centred on a small supermarket and a café or restaurant, with effective use of the available tenancy area.
Black precast panels and cedar board-and-batten distinguish the frontage. Glazed shopfronts and covered outdoor areas connect the tenancies to shared public space. The project team included Marra Construction, Harrison Grierson and E3 Consultants.
