Kaumatua Housing Papamoa
Kaumātua housing design · Papamoa, Tauranga
The kaumātua housing design in Papamoa groups modest homes along landscaped frontages. Pitched roofs, light walls and recessed entrances establish the main features of the dwellings.
Each home has an identifiable entrance within the repeated arrangement. Changes in roof form and planting distinguish the frontages while retaining a consistent scale across the housing group.
